My wife swears she saw one on our hike in Witty's Lagoon Regional Park. I'm not sure if it was the beer or the excitement, but I'm not one to argue with my wife.

Aside from Sasquatch, Metchosin is home to a variety of wildlife, including black bears, cougars, and bald eagles. It's like living in an episode of "Planet Earth," but without David Attenborough's soothing voice.

One thing we love about Metchosin is the town's commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.

You won't find any fast food chains or skyscrapers here, just locally-sourced food and natural beauty. It's refreshing to see a town that cares about the environment and its residents.
